As a former captain, Williams brings a wealth of experience and leadership qualities to the role, which could prove invaluable in supporting Bellamy as he navigates the challenges of the tournament.
Williams' return to the Wales setup is also notable given his recent involvement in the sport, having hung up his boots relatively recently. His familiarity with the team and the dynamics of Welsh football will likely enable him to make an immediate impact, providing Bellamy with a trusted voice in the dressing room and on the training pitch.
